INSTAX è il mondo di fotografie istantanee della Fujifilm, e 240 sono i secondi che devono passare per vedere sviluppate le foto che avete scattato. Il sistema delle foto istantanee, consente di distaccarmi da un mondo invaso dalla bulimia degli scatti digitali continui. Mi piace cercare la scena, inquadrare la foto, ragionare sullo scatto, uno slow food della fotografia, anche se a volte è un processo istintivo che dura solo qualche istante.Trovo appagante ed entusiasmante, l’immediatezza e la fisicità di avere tra le mani l’immagine di quello che i miei occhi hanno visto, di vedere apparire e confrontare la singolarità di quel momento. Mi piace pensarla come forma d’arte, e l’unicità dello scatto in parte ne facilita l’inquadramento.
INSTAX is Fujifilm's world of instant photography, and 240 are the seconds it takes to see the photos you've taken developed. The instant photo system allows me to detach myself from a world invaded by the bulimia of continuous digital shots. I like to look for the scene, frame the photo, think about the shot, a slow food of photography, even if sometimes it is an instinctive process that lasts only a few moments. I find satisfying and exciting, the immediacy and physicality of having in my hands the image of what my eyes have seen, of seeing appear and compare the singularity of that moment. I like to think of it as a form of art, and the uniqueness of the shot partly facilitates its framing.
